NORTH BEND, WA — Washington State Patrol detectives are looking for more witnesses to come forward after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 90 near North Bend last week. In a news release Tuesday, WSP said 911 callers reported a person sitting on the road near milepost 34 around 9 p.m. on Dec. 28.
The person was later hit and died from their injuries at the scene, officials said. The emergency response blocked eastbound lanes for several hours.
